 Kim Censurato, LPC, NCC, CEAP

Kim graduated with a Master's Degree in Counseling from The College of New Jersey in 2003. Since that time, she earned the credentials of National Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPC) in Pennsylvania and Delaware and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). 


She focuses her practice on supporting her clients through the challenges they through adulthood.  She is an active member in the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), American Counseling Association (ACA), and Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA).


If you are seeking Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services, Kim is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and assists clients in achieving work-life balance. Kim takes a solution-focused approach with her clients and provides short term therapy promoting increased productivity at work and overall wellness. In addition to EAP counseling, she is also trained in Critical Incident Response (CIR).

PHILOSOPHY

Kim's ability to connect with her clients and her use of multiple theoretical techniques leads to the achievement of their therapeutic goals. Collaboration with family and medical providers allows Kim to view the client in a holistic way and provide support in all areas the client may be struggling.


Kim began her career working with adults and families in an Employee Assistance Program setting and carries some of the same principles of a Solution-focused approach in her counseling techniques today. She is able to have her clients focus on their strengths, goals and next steps toward their futures. Kim focuses on depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, woman's issues, and divorce/separation while maintaining the EAP principle of gaining a work/life balance. Having a client-centered approach allows for a working therapeutic relationship which empowers the client to be their best selves in their own lives.


QUALIFIED THERAPIST

Kim is a licensed professional counseling (LPC) in both Delaware and Pennsylvania with over 18 years experience.  In addition, she maintains the National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) credentials. 

TREATMENT MODALITITES

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy  and Client Centered Approach.  A combination is used for optimal outcomes based on individual treatment goals of the client.

AFFORDABLE

Fee for service, Out of Network and Highmark BCBS of Delaware accepted.

PRIVATE & CONVENIENT

Kim offers services through telehealth or in office.
